Motorcycle Classics at Isle of Man TT

Motorcycle Classics Editor-In-Chief Richard Backus is on his way to the Isle of Man TT courtesy of Eligio Arturi at Mototouring.  It's all part of Classic Motorcycle Tours' Isle of Man - Manx GP 2016 tour.  Coverage will include riding the back roads of the English countryside, a visit to the National Motorcycle Museum, a ferry ride to the island, four full days of events and racing, then stops in Liverpool and Manchester as the group makes its way back to London.  Now that's a full week's worth of fun right there!

If you have ever wanted to attend this iconic British racing event, or other superb riding opportunities in Italy, the Swiss Alps, Cuba and more, check out all of the tours available at www.mototouring.com.  And watch for updates and coverage on this and other classic motorcycle events in the USA and abroad in the pages of Motorcycle Classics magazine or at www.motorcycleclassics.com, the longest-running U.S.-based classic motorcycle magazine ever.

Motorcycle Classics' Ride 'Em Don't Hide 'Em Getaway

Just had to share the incredible fun we had at the inaugural Motorcycle Classics' Ride 'Em Don't Hide 'Em Getaway event held at Seven Springs (PA) Resort the first weekend of August.  Two days of riding classic bikes through beautiful two lane backroads in southwest Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  Not to mention plenty of opportunities to eat and drink.  Oh, and did I mention ogling classic bikes and swapping tall tales?  Eighty-three folks took part, braved the rain and fog, and had a blast riding and getting to know one another.  Here are some examples of the fun:

The group at Cooper's Rock State Park

Lunch in Morgantown, WV

The sag wagon - in the fog!

Watch for it again next year.  I guarantee you won't be disappointed!
